les petites fleurs

Went to a meeting last night of the bonsai and suiseki (stone) club and came home with an azalia (satsuki). Go figure!
I also got home with several azalia cuttings, which are supposed to sprout roots very well. I rolled them in damp paper towels, put them in a large plastic bag, and left them on the counter. The poor things had to wait until this afternoon to be tucked in to their little flower bed. At least they got into a nice pot! Not exactly the forest I’d imagined. . . .

All things take time. Soon a forest they will be !

With these, I’m hoping for individual plants and the experience of rooting from cuttings. Hmmm. If enough make it, maybe a forest they will be. . . .
